MAY- AUGUST 2026
*Formerly known as Atomic Semi
I worked on a variety of projects this summer, including:
Fab2’s first in-house production solenoid valves, resolving chronic leak and corrosion issues (awarded a $10,000 bounty).
A rework and reprogram of a high-voltage solenoid valve driver PCB to increase capacitance and current capacity. Validated long-term reliability by cycle-testing the electronics and valve to 1,000,000 cycles without failure.
An STM32-based KiCAD PCB from scratch for a wafer-handling robot, integrating CAN/I2C protocols, analog, strain gauge filtering, piezo sensor inputs, laser and solenoid drivers, and TVS/ESD protection.
COMSOL multiphysics sims to optimize a deposition chamber.
Developed a PID auto-tuner for chamber heaters.
I was formally a Mechanical Engineering Intern on the Vacuum Systems team, but also worked on projects with the Electrical Engineering team.
Unfortunately due to tight EAR restrictions and IP restrictions, no more details can be shared. I was also only cleared to show one photo of one project, which was the PCB I designed for Fab2's wafer handling robot arm, which you can see below.
